Policies and Procedures:
Students should remain home for at least 24 hours when sick with colds, flu, fevers , and other common illnesses. Students who have a fever (>100.4 F) must remain at home until fever-free for 24 hours without any fever-reducing medications (Acetaminophen/Tylenol or Ibuprofen/Motrin/Advil). Similarly, if students are vomiting, they will also need to remain home for 24 hours after vomiting has stopped.
For the protection of all students and staff, anyone with a contagious disease will need to be excluded from school or sent home. Please contact your student's school nurse, who will advise you on the district's policy and when returning to school is allowed.
